(Springfield, Missouri) . . . Springfield Neurological and Spine Institute (SNSI), LLC and Litton & Giddings Radiological Associates, P.C. announce the addition of Dr. Michael J. Workman. Dr. Workman is an interventional neuroradiologist who recently joined Litton and Giddings Radiological Associates and will have an office and clinic at SNSI. Interventional neuroradiologists perform minimally invasive spine procedures including vertebroplasty and endovascular treatment of cerebrovascular disease. Dr. Workman provides services for the treatment of cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and arterial-occlusive disease of the head and neck, in addition to thrombolytic therapy for stroke.
Dr. Workman received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. After completing his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Duke University, he completed fellowships in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Duke University and Interventional Neuroradiology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Springfield Neurological and Spine Institute, L.L.C. is an independent specialty neurosurgery group that serves both Cox Health System and St. John’s Regional Health Center. The group is owned and managed by Drs. Thomas Briggs, Wade Ceola, Mark Crabtree, John Ferguson, Charles Mace, Salim Rahman, and Robert Strang. Litton & Giddings Radiological Associates, P.C. is an independent radiology group of 22 radiologists providing the entire spectrum of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in several locations including Cox Health System and the SNSI Imaging Center.
