Springfield, Missouri- Robert D. Strang, a neurosurgeon of Springfield Neurological and Spine Institue, LLC (SNSI), has received invitation to serve as lab faculty at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Through the Department of Practical Anatomy and Surgical Education, Dr. Strang will serve as faculty in the 2007 workshop, Surgical Approaches to the Skull Base. The mission of the department of the Practical Anatomy and Sugical Education is, "Practical Anatomy and Surgical Education, Center for Anatomical Science and Education, Saint Louis University School of Medicine, is dedicated to the development and presentation of innovative medical, health, and science workshops. Practical Anatomy strives to promote the concept of lifelong learning by utilizing th elatest technology to connect young people, residents, health care professional, and surgeons to world-class experts and faculty". Dr. Strang completed his medical education at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, AR, as well as a skull base fellowship under Ossama Al-Mefty, MD, University of Arkansas. On the invitation from Dr. Al-Mefty, Course Director, Dr. Strang will join six other neurosurgeons from actoss the country and Ireland to take part in this workshop. SNSI consists of nine neurosurgeons, two physiatrists, and an inverventional neuroradiologist. SNSI has served patients of the region for over 28 years and offers over 40 years of combined experience. |
