Dr. Kelly Own is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist affiliated with CoxHealth in Springfield, Missouri.
A native of Southern California, Dr. Kelly Own received his undergraduate degree from University of California, Los Angeles, graduating magna cum laude. He earned his medical degree from St George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Own then completed his residency at Wayne State University in Michigan, and a Spine Medicine fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Own began his practice in interventional spine medicine and PM&R with a multi-specialty orthopedics group in the Kansas City region. In 2022, he joined the multi-specialty group, Springfield Neurological & Spine Institute.
At SNSI, Dr. Own specializes in the nonsurgical treatment of spine, musculoskeletal, and peripheral nerve disorders, offering a wide variety of treatment options including epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation/neurotomy, neuromodulation, peripheral joint and peripheral nerve injections, and platelet-rich plasma injections.
When he is not practicing medicine Dr. Own enjoys spending time with his wife and child, trying new foods, watching movies, and traveling.
