I rarely leave reviews, but I also don’t often have positive experiences at doctor’s offices, They are rarely bad, but average at best. The spine Institute was very quick and timely. I had very little wait either in the waiting room or in the exam room. The nurse was very kind. And Dr. Stokke was so kind and he listened and he took the time that I needed to give me the advice I needed. My pain had actually improved rapidly before my appointment, but I kept it anyway, and he was not irritated by that at all he just listened and advised. It was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is suffering from back pain and needs this type of care. If I ever have to get care again, I will definitely go back. Although I hope that I don’t have to.

I had an L4/L5 laminectomy with fusion with Dr. Mace in October of 2004! I'm still working full time as a nurse and i can bend over and still touch my toes even 21 years later. Other than having a total hip replacement due to bone on bone 3 years ago I'm able to still be active. Im now in Washington State and finally found an orthopedic surgeon who can follow me for care of my back! Hopefully Dr. Mace you'll retire soon!

My partner [31, 6'3, 270 pounds] fell through a roof in February and we were blessed to call Cunningham our surgeon in June for his Simplify disc replacement. I did all the research I could and I couldn't be more satisfied with his work, bedside manner, and awesome attitude. He has an amazing way of calming nerves and we would never want to have gone under a knife by anyone else! Forever thankful to him. Thank you for giving my partner his life back!!! The nurses and surgery center were amazing to us and catered to his every need, quickly and kindly. Edit* post op 1 month with simplify carbon fiber disc healing well

There are not enough great things I could say about Dr. Spurgeon! She is such a great provider and incredibly talented surgeon. She performed a craniotomy to remove a colloid cyst, while I was recently postpartum she was very empathetic to my situation and helped ease my stress. She has a wonderful team with her too! I would recommend them to everyone!

Dr Ceola operated on my husband’s arm, several yrs ago. The surgery went well and he has no had any issues since. A very caring doctor. At this office, you know they care about you and don’t get treated as an object Dr Ceola is a great surgeon and a compassionate man

I recently had a spinal fusion by Dr. Cunningham and have had a great experience! I moved to this area a few months ago and this facility was new to me. From the first step to the last has been remarkable, not only the office itself, but every area I went through was the friendliest, caring and efficient staff I could have ever asked for! I wish I could remember all the names so I could say a special thanks ,you made my surgery experience a blessing, thank you all.

Caring, competent, vast experience & knowledge, proven success record, and straight forward with diagnosis and solution. This man saved me from a wheelchair so many times. I had a progrssive spine issue and he has staved off the inevitable for 25 years now. Love him!

Dr. Cunningham & his staff are amazing! He did an ALIF on my back and I haven't had any pain,except for right after surgery, and I feel fantastic! No PAIN!! Dr. Jayarao and his team are fantastic! Very personable and down to earth. Very good at listening to my concerns and got the ball rolling to get me through all the insurance loops to get me to surgery to relieve my pain! I highly recommend Dr. Jayarao and his team! They gave me back my life!

Dr. Angela Spurgeon did fantastic with my surgery back last month and she is one of the best neurosurgeons here in town. If you are ever in need of a neurosurgeon, Dr. Spurgeon and her staff are amazing here. She was also there for me when I had a major complication from surgery and checked in with me to see how I was doing day by day.

The doctors and nurses was phenomenal everyone was so caring and always asked me if I needed anything else when coming into my room and they always brought me some extra jello as they knew that is basically all I was eating and I enjoyed it, if I needed anything else done I would definitely choose Cox health even if it means a 2 1/2 hour drive it’s well worth it.
