
Dr. Vyacheslav Makler is a board-certified neurosurgeon. With over two decades of combined experience as a physician, neurosurgical resident, and physician assistant, Dr. Makler brings deep clinical expertise to complex neurological and spine care.
He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class and was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi National Osteopathic Honors Fraternity. Dr. Makler completed his neurosurgical residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and further specialized through a fellowship in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery at the University of Miami.
Prior to medical school, he was a certified surgical physician assistant. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, presented at national neurosurgery conferences, and contributed to surgical education through lectures and hands-on training.
Fluent in English and Russian, Dr. Makler is a member of several professional societies including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons. Outside of medicine, he enjoys cycling, running, snowboarding, paintball, and spending time with his family.
