Brandon Ruble is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner affiliated with Cox Health in Springfield Missouri.
Brandon is a native of Springfield MO. He joined the National Guard and attended AMEDD 68 W Healthcare Specialist Course in Fort Sam Houston, Texas earning a National Registry License-EMT B. Later, he attended AMEDD Flight Medic Course in Fort Rucker, Alabama for Additional Skill Identifier-F3. He has deployed to Iraq as a combat medic and later to Afghanistan as a flight medic aboard the UH-60 Blackhawk. Brandon attended Southwest Baptist University in Missouri earning an Associates and Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In 2017, he earned his Master of Science in Nursing- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Brandon’s military experience includes Ambulance Platoon Sergeant, Air Ambulance NCOIC, Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse and Treatment Support Medical Officer. Additional professional experience includes, Registered Nurse at Mercy Springfield in Neuro Trauma Progressive Care, Neuro Trauma Intensive Care and most recently in Neurosurgery, as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
In 2021, Brandon joined Springfield Neurological & Spine Institute as a Nurse Practitioner. He is board-certified with the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).
Outside of medicine and nursing, Brandon enjoys attending church, spending time with friends and family, being at the pool with his family, cooking, reading, and video games.
