Emily Crouse is a board certified Nurse Practitioner affiliated with Cox Health in Springfield Missouri.
Emily is a native of Nixa, Missouri. She attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. After completing her undergraduate studies in 2004, she returned home to Southwest Missouri. As a Registered Nurse she worked in Neuro-Trauma Intensive Care, Cardiology, and later joined Springfield Neurologic and Spine Institute as a Registered Nurse. Following several years of clinical nursing practice, Emily returned to the academic setting and earned her Master’s in Nursing from the University of Central Missouri. Since graduating with her master’s degree in 2012, she has worked in the Neurosciences as Nurse Practitioner in the acute care setting.
In 2020, Emily joined Springfield Neurological & Spine Institute as a Nurse Practitioner. She is an American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Outside of medicine and nursing, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, reading, yoga, hiking, camping, and traveling.
